当我们想要催促比较熟的人赶紧做一件事情时，这个句型相当好用。这么说可以让对方知道你希望他的动作能快点儿，或者暗示他你接下来还有别的事情，得赶紧处理眼前的情况。

Ben: How about this pink shirt for Lisa's present?
班：你觉得买这件粉红色的衬衫给莉莎当礼物好吗?
Tony: I don 't think pink suits her.
汤尼：我觉得粉红色不适合她。
Ben: So, do you have any idea of Lisa's prefcrences?
班：你知道任何有关莉莎的偏好吗?
Tony: Well... she told me she loves Tiffany's necklaces.
汤尼：嗯……她告诉我她很喜欢Tiffany的项链。
Ben: Good.Then,let's hurry up and get it, you're running out of time.
班：太好了。那么就快点儿到那边买一条吧，你的时间不多了。
在这段对话当中，Ben陪Tony去买Lisa的礼物，而因为距离Tony与Lisa碰面的时间已逐渐逼近，因此当Ben一听到Tony诉说Lisa喜欢什么东西时，便马上催促他"Hurry up and…!" (快去买吧!)
