A niche market is a focused, targetable portion of a
market.
利基市场指的是集中的，目标明确的.市场份额。
By definition, then, a business that focuses on a niche
market is addressing a need for a product or service that is not being addressed
by mainstream providers. You can think of a niche market as a narrowly defined
group of potential customers.
顾名思义，若一家企业专注于利基市场意味着这家公司对一个产品或服务具有需求，并且此产品或服务并不被主流供应商所提供。可以把利基市场看作是狭义的一群潜在客户。
For instance, instead of offering cleaning services, a
business might establish a niche market by specializing in blind cleaning
services.
