as students, we could share more time with our friends. the friendship in our young hearts is pure, fresh and simple. i often feel very lucky to have a lot of good friends. especially when i had justin as one of my best friends. justin was my english teacher from the usa. i met him in 1996 when i was a student who could only speak very little english. justin was a vivid young man with a bright smile on his face, and he always had his special way to make the class active and attractive. he taught us english by telling stories, playing games, singing songs, and even dancing. i could still remember very clearly that one afternoon when we fin-ished our class, we went to some other classes to sing songs for them, just like what people do in the states on christmas eve. it was so interesting and unforgettable. justin was an excellent teacher, because he taught us not only how to study english well, but also the way to find out the beauty of the world and the way to be angels to others' lives. i know there was friendship and pure love in our hearts. facing this valuable emotion neither nationality nor age was important, the real importance lay in faith, under-standing, and care. justin is the best friend i have ever had, and i know i will cherish those days of staying together with him as the best part of my memory.

love is varied and changeable, but roughly it can be divided into three categories: family love, fraternal love and amatory love. not like monkey king who jumped out of the rocks, we were all born after mother's pregnancy of about nine months, hence we have countless relatives without any choice: parents, grand-parents, and grand-parents-in-law, uncles and aunties, brothers and sisters, etc. and once looking at the genealogical tree, we'll see no end. family love is what everyone longs for, but the warmth and support from our beloved ones are what everyone yearns for the most. but how many of us are determined to contribute to our beloved one? and how many don't expect repayment and relaxed. conscience even if they have the desire and preparation to contribute to their beloved. the distance between relatives is different and so are their expectations. but since it's very difficult to know how much we should expect, a lot of worries and distresses emerge.

英语演讲俱乐部旨在激发同学们的英语学习的兴趣和激情，营造一个良好的英语学习的氛围，促进师大良好的学习风气的形成和保持，提高师大学生英语应用和学习能力，提高师大的影响力。
1.英语晨读
活动目的：加强英语语感，营造师大良好的学习气氛，同时也可以端正学生的学习态度同时锻炼学生的毅力
活动日程：本学期第3周活动筹备阶段，包括晨读活动的宣传，晨读材料准备，工作人员的安排;第4周晨读正式开始，持续至备考期前一周。具体时间是每天早上7：00——7：30，工作人员达到时间在6：40左右，给早到的同学提供材料。
活动地点：教九楼前面的绿地，天气恶劣情况下将转移到主楼前(11月下旬冷的时候，申请一个教室)
活动形式：初步打算以学习小组的形式，每个小组选出或是自荐小组长，一般由语音较好的同学担任，小组长和大家一起学习，同学们也可以向组长请教，以后的同学可以自行组组或是加入其他组中。
在活动初期和活动中期做几次宣传，宣传形式以海报宣传为主，配合展板使用。第一次宣传时间定于9月14号;第二次时间待定工作人员负责将材料交到各个同学手中，同时记录各组组员到达和学习情况，并在学期末由部里人员选出10名“晨读之星”给予奖励。晨读材料包括精美英语句子，英语诗歌，英语演讲稿，英语新闻等等。部分生词会加以标注。
2.英语角
活动目的：提高师大学生的英语口语水平，增强其现时英语交流的能力，提高其英语学习兴趣。
活动日程：本学期第2周活动筹备阶段，包括英语角活动的宣传，英语角活动准备，工作人员的安排;第3周活动正式开始，持续到备考期前一周。具体时间是每周六晚上6：00以后。
活动地点：教七后曦园(天黑和天气冷的时候申请在室内进行)
活动形式： 第一次活动有一个小型PARTY，主要介绍大家互相认识，工作人员负责场地布置，话题选择，同时给出部分可能需要的材料，印刷分给到场的同学。同学们可以和外国友人和其他英语爱好者自由交谈。工作人员负责现场秩序，活动结束时向同学们征求下次的话题和活动形式，并做筹备。
活动每周都要进行宣传，主要以海报形式，在活动当天张贴。
学期末可以办一个英语角的小型PARTY，初步打算和北邮合办，可以增进各个院校间的友谊，主要活动形式是电影配音，小场景现场表演以及小型辩论赛等等，给我们的外教以及优秀的同学以一定的奖励。
活动主要由英语俱乐部的工作人员策划，具体活动待定。
3.英语口语学习培训
活动目的`： 系统学习英语口语，提高同学们的口语水平。
活动时间：每周六20：00。
活动地点：申请中。
活动形式： 定期提供英语口语经典教程，大部分以多媒体的形式播放给同学看。同时请英语辩论赛冠军和英语演讲比赛冠军一起交流经验。
4.英语学术讲座
活动目的：旨在为同学们通过各种英语考试，提高口语水平提供指导。
活动时间：9月下旬和11月下旬。
活动地点：临时申请教室。
活动形式：请校内和校外的资深人士做关于英语四六级、口语考试、突破口语听力关等方面的讲座。宣传方面主要形式为海报宣传，在活动前一天和活动当天在各个海报栏张贴。如果需要展板横幅另行讨论。
5、原生电影配套英文对白
活动目的：配合提供每周五的英文原声电影的英文对白，更好实现英语俱乐部各个部门的合作，同时使同学们更好的利用英文电影资源，在有限的时间内学习更多的知识。
活动时间：周五晚8：00。
活动地点：敬文讲堂。
活动形式：由工作人员编写对白材料，当天发放给观看电影的同学。
6 英语演讲比赛
活动目的：全方面的提高同学们的英语口语水平，提高师大学生的全面素质，给同学一个展现自我的舞台，为下期的英语辩论赛做一定的人才准备。
活动时间：10月中旬。
活动地点：教室申请中。
活动形式：和外文学院合作举办。活动前一周进行各个院系的宣传和报名工作。具体操作工作和外文学院学生会做进一步讨论，包括演讲的题目，审评标准，嘉宾和评委的邀请，比赛的奖项设置等等。

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and lay around it every day. He climbed to the tree top, ate the apples, took a nap under the shadow… He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him.
Time went by… the little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree every day. One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad. “Come and play with me,” the tree asked the boy. “I am no longer a kid, I don't play around trees anymore.” The boy replied, “I want toys. I need money to buy them.” “Sorry, but I don't have money…but you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money.” The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad.
One day, the boy returned and the tree was so excited. “Come and play with me,” the tree said. “I don't have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?” “Sorry, but I don't have a house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house.” So the boy cut all the branches off the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the boy never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.

我真后悔！写中文演讲稿时光注意排比了，结果翻译出来生词一大堆！我不认识音标，有的句子念好几遍也记不住，于是我在妈妈写的音标下面加注“中文音标”比如gourd下面注“郭的”。这下，演讲稿五颜六色，更加惨不忍睹。
第四天，我背下了两段。第五天，都背下来了，可是磕磕巴巴的。第六天，又背了几遍，好多了。第七天，我满怀信心迎接预选赛。
所有参加预选赛的同学被分为几组，分别进不同的教室接受检验。我在教室外一边等待上场，一边念念有词巩固背诵成果，我很有信心通过预赛。该我入场了，教室里只有一位英语老师，我要用流利的演讲打动她！我首先问老师好，然后把事先准备好的中英文对照的演讲稿双手递给老师。老师没有表情地说：“不用了，开始吧！”
我开始用抑扬顿挫的声调充满感情地背诵演讲稿——居然没有打磕巴，妈妈提醒的.所有地方都没出错！啊！我太兴奋了，当我说完“That’s all, thank you！”我想老师一定会冲我点头微笑！
可是，老师没有微笑，没有任何表情地说：“下一个！”
是的，结果就像老师的表情一样——预选赛，我被淘汰了。
我白准备了一个星期，妈妈也白跟着忙活了一场。妈妈一个劲儿地安慰我，可是，我还是对这件事耿耿于怀好几天。

本次活动由天津大学仁爱学院主办，校公共外语教学部及英语社协办，在校领导的大力支持下本次活动获得了圆满成功。
本次活动分为上午的演讲比赛和下午的歌唱比赛，首次采用全日制赛程，精彩非凡，选手的优异表现更是一次次把气氛推向高潮。
参赛的共计40名选手都取得了不错的成绩，这次大赛不仅增强了我们独立院校之间的合作，更是一次英语教学成果交流和检验，意义非凡。

What is nature
What is nature? It's everything that exists in the world independently of people, such as pants and animals, earth and rocks, and the weather.
Now more and more people are focusing on the nature. It is no doubt that the nature is important to every human being. No nature, no life. Because of the supplies of the nature, we have lived happily for a long time. And we started to gain every thing available from the nature. And this lasted so long a time. Today, people have discovered that the nature around is getting worse and worse.
What is threatening the nature? Air and water pollution, overharvesting of plant and animal species, overpopulation and so on. Overpopulation is the biggest source of pollution. Let's take overpopulation as an example.
What does overpopulation feel like? When we move slowly through the city in a tazi. When we enter a crowded slum district. When the temperature is high and when the air is thick with dust and smoke. The streets are crowded with people. The streets seem alive with people. People eating. People washing. People talking. People sleeping. People visiting each other, arguing and screaming. People relieving themselves. People pushing their hands through the taxi windows, begging. People leading animals. People, people, people, people. As we drive slowly through the crowd, sounding the taxi's horn, the dust, heat, noise and cooking fires made it like a scene from hell! I admit, frightening.
To the nature, overpopulation is a big problem. More people, more pollution. And the big population is threatening the nature every second.
The rapid rise in world population is not creating problems only for the developing countries. The whole world faces the problem that raw materials are being used up at an increasing rate and food production can not keep up with the population increase. People in rich countries make the heaviest demands on the world's resources, its food, fuel and land, and cause the most pollution. A baby born in the United States will use in his lifetime 30 times more of the world's resources than a baby born in India. Unless all the countries of the world take united action to deal with the population explosion there will be more and more people fighting for a share of less and less land, food and fuel, and the future will bring poverty, misery and war to us all.
For most of the developing countries, it is a good idea to control the population growth. For example, China has carried out birth control for years. And this plan has a great effect on the world population.
If the population continues to increase, if the air and water continue to be polluted, if we don't do something to protect wild-plant and wildlife species will be declining. Species and biological communities have difficulty adapting to change. Economic opportunities and the quality of life of future generations are also put at risk. By protecting nature, we protect ourselves.
Let's unite together, hand in hand we stand all across the land.

Why do I have this dream? Because reading is too tired now I 6:30 in the morning when doing the dream also will hear mother shouted at my bedside "get up! Or else I will open a shrill alarm clock!" I heard that they should open the alarm clock had to get up right away. Then hurry clad wash gargle then rushed to the station on the way buy some snacks in a hurry to get on the bus on the way to chew breakfast while reading English. Immediately start to school the day I quickly closed my eyes. Back home to do my homework sometimes I work late to sleep very late which have time to play!
In order to children's study in the future life easy pleasant and being able to maintain a lot of knowledge. I want to invent a product in children born a small operation the kids can install a connected to the computer interface it can not like us every morning to go to school go home and do my homework. They just at the right time with the computer connection input to master the knowledge of can master all want to learn the knowledge. The children can play all day or exercise do things they are interested in. So the children can both enjoy the fun of childhood and to ensure that everyone is very good.
Childhood like that how beautiful it is! In order to achieve this dream now study hard though it was worth it!
