  【教学过程】

  Teaching Procedures:

  Step 1 Revision

  Look at the pictures of the weather and have a free talk about the rainstorm, and discuss what we should do and what we shouldn’t do when the rainstorm come.

  Step 2 Practice these sentences.

  1. What were you doing at eight last night?? I was taking a shower.

  2. What was she doing at the time of the rainstorm?? She was doing her homework.

  3. What was he doing when the rainstorm came? He was reading in the library when the rainstorm came.

  4. What was Ben doing when it began to rain heavily? When it began to rain, Ben was helping his mom make dinner.

  5. What was Jenny doing while Linda was sleeping? While Linda was sleeping, Jenny was helping Mary with her homework.

  Step3  Talk about the difference between the present progressive tense and past present progressive.

  1. 基本概念:现在进行时表示当前正在发生的动作。过去进行时表示在过去某一时刻或一段时间内正在进行的动作。这一特定的过去时间除有上下文暗示以外, 一般用时间状语来表示。

  2. 结构 is/am/are + V-ing?  was / were ( not ) + V-ing

  3. 句式?? I/He/She/It is working.

  We/You/They are working.

  I/He/She/It was working.

  We/You/They/ were working.

  Step 4 Listening 1b’2a and 2b

  (1) Ask some students to tell the answers.

  (2) 2a and 2b: we will check the answers on the screen.

  Steps 5 role-play the conversation.

  I will tell the grammar when learning the conversation and then role-play the conversation. I’ll give some information in the text on the blackboard to help the students to remember more quickly.

  Step 6?? Game time

  I will show the game rules on the screen and then we will play the game. There will be a winner at last. After the class, I’ll give him the present.

  Step 7?? Summary and homework.

  Homework: What were you and your classmates doing at eight last night? Write an article about it. At least 80 words.

  教学反思

  英语教学要尊重个体差异性,不能对学生制定统一的标准,英语学习的评价也应该是多元的`和多样性,并且是多层次的评价方式.这也是课改的重点和难点。实行分层评价,促进学生的发展。使他们通过自身努力能达到易见的效果,较好地保护“弱势群体”的自尊心。同时,也能促其不断向高层次发展挺进。
