  Unit 7 Today is Monday

英语五年级下册第七单元教学设计

  (第一课时)

  教学目标:

  (1)在故事中学习询问星期几所做事情的功能句型,学生初步感知句型的含义及用法。

  (2)在句型中学习表示星期的单词:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday,能够在句型中加以运用。

  (3)了解故事大意,能尽可能多地运用英语来表述故事。

  教学重点:

  学习表示星期的单词,能够理解询问星期几所做事情的功能句型。

  教学难点:

  发音:Thursday,能尽可能多地运用英语来表述故事,发展学生的语言表达能力。

  教学准备:

  配套光盘,日历,教学卡片。

  教学过程:

  一、Warming-up

  师:Oral English:

  How many days are there in a week?

  Which day do you like? 二、Preview

  师:1. ask the children what they do on Monday.(go to school)

  Do you go to school every day?

  2. present the word “every”explain its meaning. Listen and repeat it.

  3. show a diary and explain “diary”ask, “Do you go to school on Monday?” /Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

  三、Presentation

  Activity1:1)show the picture7, elicit the children look and answer, 师:“How many people are there?”

  师:“who are they?”

  师:“where are they?”

  师:“What happened can you guess?”

  Activity2:Only listen this story and answer:

  What did you here from this story?

  Activity3:learn this story1)watch the flash about this text.

  (第二课时)

  教学目标:

  (1)学习星期名称的词汇,通过词汇的学习让学生对熟悉的感兴趣的知识能够在情景中理解运用。会利用星期进行交流。

  (2)能够拼写本单元关于星期词汇的单词并能够在理解的基础上以小组的形式表演全部或部分故事内容。

  (3)通过故事的学习,培养学生在日常生活中正确把握学与玩的关系。会自己制作安排一周的活动。

  教学重点:

  关于星期词汇的学习,及几个常用的名词的书写,如单词开头的大写,都以-day结尾,对学生的学习方法进行指导

  教学难点:

  是学生在理解词汇意义的基础上结合故事内容,了解词汇的用法,然后进行模仿,

  并注意词汇书写形式的把握。灵活运用所学习的语言交际用语进行口语交流。

  教学准备:

  配套光盘,日历,教学卡片。

  教学过程:

  Activity1:

  Activity 2: show the pictures about the new words.Encourage the children describe the pictures.What can you see in the picture? / Can you introduce this picture? What day is it today ? What do you do on Monday?

  (第三课时)

  教学目标:

  (1)通过对话和阅读教学,

  让学生在故事的基础上着重学习本单元的句型结构及注重情景创设,让学生在真实意义的语境中理解。

  (2)观察插图,理解阅读短文的内容及能够在理解短文的基础上根据要求完成练习。

  (3)通过短文的学习,培养学生养成快速、不出声阅读的习惯,同时学会安排自己的一周的活动。 教学重点:学习本单元的句型结构,学生能够做替换练习,正确的迁移所学的知识 教学难点:灵活运用所学习的语言交际用语进行口语交流。同时要学会带着问题阅读,完成任务。

  教学准备:

  配套光盘,日历,教学卡片。

  教学过程:

  一、Warm-up

  Activity 1:Talk together

  Look at the picture And elicit the children say the names of the characters and answer“who are in the pictures ?

  1.单词卡片:

  (1)本课新单词卡片。

  (2)基数词one至twelve的单词卡片。

  (3)序数词first至twelfth的单词卡片。

  (1)标有楼号的高楼。

  (2)课文挂图。

  3.录音机或教学光盘。

  教学过程:

  Step 1Warning up

  1.师生互致问候。

  2.齐唱歌曲:Ten Little Baby Ducks。

  Step 2Review

  1.复习基数词one至twelve。

  (1)根据歌曲,教师出示基数词one至twelve的单词卡片,请学生读一读、拼一拼。

  (2)游戏——排排坐。

  游戏规则:教师随机出示数字单词卡片,一闪而过,哪位学生最快说出该单词并拼读正确,教师就将该卡片给这位学生,以此类推,直至12张卡片全部发至学生手中。请拿到卡片的12位学生上台,将卡片按one至twelve的顺序贴在黑板上。

  2.复习序数词first至fourth,教学序数词fifth至twelfth。

  (1)用同样的方法复习序数词first至fourth,然后请四位学生上台,将四个序数词写在相应的基数词旁,如:

  first

  second third

  fourth

  (2)教师在剩余的基数词旁贴出相应的序数词的单词卡片,让学生观察两组单词在音、形和义上的不同,并找出序数词的构成规律。

  (3)告诉学生,数词有两种:基数词和序数词。表达数目多少的数词叫基数词,表达顺序先后的数词叫序数词。英语中序数词第1至第12除了first,second,third有特殊的形式外,其余均由基数词加后缀瞭h构成。注意第5和第12的拼写,要把基数词five和twelve词尾的ve改成f,然后加后缀瞭h。

  (4)采用不同的方法教学12个序数词的读音。

  (5)完成课本第51页的Say these numbers.部分。

  请学生朗读表格中的序数词,并观察序数词第1至第12的缩写形式,说出它们的构成特点,然后同桌合作认读表格中的序数词及其缩写形式。

  (6)游戏——拔河比赛。

  游戏规则:在黑板上画一横线,中间位置画一点为“中心点”,将一个磁扣放在中心点上,中心点的左右各画五小格,如下图:(略)

  游戏开始,第一回合甲队第一个人随机说一个基数词(或序数词),乙队的第一个人就要说出相应的序数词(或基数词),如果乙队说得正确,磁扣就向乙队方向移动一格,回答错误,就向甲队方向移动一格。第二回合,乙队第二个人随机说一个基数词(或序数词),甲队的第二个人就要说出相应的序数词(或基数词),以此类推,最后磁扣先到达哪队的终点,哪个队获胜。

  3.导入课题,并教学单词building。

  (1)教师出示一张有十六、七层的高楼图片说:“Look.This is a tall building.Which floor does Miss Gao live on? Let’s see.”

  (2)揭示课题并板书:Unit 7 Tall BuildingPart A。

  (3)出示单词卡片,教学building。告诉学生building由动词build(建造)加瞚ng构成,引导学生拓展说句子:It’s a tall/nice/beautiful/…building或They餽e…buildings。

  Step 3 Presentation

  (一)教学句子:Which floor do you live on? On the twelfth floor.

  1.教师指着高楼的图片说:“This is a tall building.Miss Gao lives in this tall building.(在图旁板书live in)Which floor does Miss Gao live on?Let’s listen.”

  2.教师播放课文录音或CD-ROM,学生边听边看,并从书中找出答案。

  3.教师在图片中十二层的位置旁的黑板上板书Which floor do you live on? On the twelfth floor.

  (1)教学单词floor,告诉学生,floor有两种意思,一为“地板”,如sweep the floor(扫地),一为“楼层”,如the first floor(一楼)。

  (2)熟读这两个句子。

  (3)问答练习。
