　　Fred: Hi, Janice. Our first weekend after being employed is coming. Show me your plan.

　　佛瑞德：嗨，贾尼斯。我们上班以来的第一个周末就要到了。告诉我你的计划吧。

　　Janice: My mom phoned me this morning, and asked me to go back home to have housework chores.

　　贾尼斯：我妈妈今天上午打电话给我，说要我冋家做家务呢。

　　Fred: What are you assigned to do?

　　佛瑞德：你要做什么家务呢?

　　Janice: God knows. Speaking of chores, I would rather do some washing than cooking.

　　贾尼斯：谁知道啊?说到做家务，我宁愿洗衣服.而不愿去做饭。

　　Fred: For me, I think I will iron my shirt and trousers. Actually, weekends tend to be the most hectic day in the whole week.

　　佛瑞德：对于我而言，我想我还得熨烫我的衬衫和裤子。实际上，周末反而变成一周中最忙的.日子了。

　　Janice: I really hope that I could sleep like a log all through two nights. But… Some one said that weekends are a bit like rainbows; they look good from a distance but disappear before we get up close to them.

　　贾尼斯：我真希望自己在这两天能_到自然醒。但是……有人说周末就像是一片彩虹。打远一看，它们的确很是美丽，但是在我们靠近它之前.却消失得无影无踪。

　　Fred: I couldn't agree more.

　　Fred: David, do you think we are lucky to have the weekend?

　　佛瑞德：大卫，我们能有周末休息实在是幸运，你觉得呢?

　　David: Definitely. I need to have enough time to have a rest on this weekend. We worked like bees in the whole working days.

　　大卫：那是肯定的。我需要在这周末有足够的时间睡觉。我们在这一周工作日里真是忙得不可开交。

　　Fred: I agree with you. What do you want to do, except sleeping?

　　佛瑞德：我同意你的说法。除睡觉之外，你还要做什么事情呢?

　　David: Let me think. Oh, awful! I still have not finished the chart which was assigned by Mr. Wharton on Friday. So that task will make my busy.

　　大卫：让我想想啊。哦.梢糕透顶了!我还没完成周五阿顿分配绐我的那个图表呢。所以这个任务还要我忙乎一阵子的。

　　Fred: I am better. I will go out to have a visit to my aunt. Why don't we have fun on weekend?

　　佛瑞德：我比你好点儿。我要拜访我的阿姨呢。为何不在周末过得愉快点呢?

　　David: So what?

　　大卫：那又怎样?
