(一) 选题背景
生产率成长可以通过储蓄的途径形成资源累积，增加人口资源量，因此成为经济成长与经济福利提升的重要来源。李媛和陈倩(2012)认为提升城市竞争力是全球化时代来临的一项重要课题，也是当前我国各级政府所共同致力的一项目标。生产率提升作为城市竞争力的衡量指标之一，由生产的方面来看，提升一个城市的竞争力除了生产要素的供给外，更重要的是提升该城市的全要素生产率。因此城市竞争力的提升其实与全要素生产率的提升息息相关。
