国际体育记者日的来历
The History of International Sports Journalist Day
1995年，第58届国际体育记者协会代表大会在加拿大举行。此会议通过决议，将7月2日定为“国际体育记者日”，号召所有会员国协会在7月2日这天举行各种形式的庆祝活动。
In 1995, the International Sports Press Association, or Association Internationale De La Presse Sportive (AIPS) in French, held its 58th annual congress in Canada.
During the meeting, a decision was made and passed that the 2nd of July from that year on will be 'International Sports Journalist Day'--a day when celebration of the sports reporter is encouraged to be held in all member countries.

What is AIPS?
说到国际体育记者日，就不能不提国际体育记者协会。这个协会于1924年7月2日在法国巴黎成立，目前有125个会员国协会。中国体育记者协会在1978年AIPS莫斯科代表大会上被接纳为该组织正式会员。
国际体育记者协会自成立以来，为加强各国体育记者之间的沟通与合作,促进体育运动及体育新闻事业在全世界的发展，弘扬奥林匹克精神作出了巨大的贡献。
AIPS was established in Paris, France, on July 2, 1924. Currently, it consists of member associations from 125 countries.
The Sports Press Association in China became an AIPS member in 1978, during the annual congress in Moscow, Russia.
Since its establishment, the AIPS has made great contribution to strengthen cooperation in sports journalism among the organization's member countries.
