  快速提高外贸英语的方法

  提升英语口语方法一:练习发音,打造纯正英语口语

  你必须清楚地知道自己的口语处于哪个水平,如果你是个英语初学者,或者学了很多年英语、但是连音标也分不清、念不清,你要做的很简单:学好音标,掌握生活中的基本词汇、基本语句(像apple, banana, cat, dog, good morning, how are you之类的)以及学会正确发音。而不要看了网站上所谓的“牛人推荐”,跑去听VOA、BBC,这些对你没有任何帮助,只能起到催眠效果。

  说到学习音标的正确发音,网上有很多教学视频。

  有这样的:屏幕上显示音标,同时真人发声教学。这样效果很不好,有些音标之间细微的差别不能传达给学生。也有这样的:教师直接示范发音口型。这样效果相对好些,但也要选择主讲老师,比如印度人的视频就不要跟着学了。

  提高英语口语方法二:边娱乐,边学英语

  随时随地学英语,不管听英文歌,还是看美剧都可以提高英语听力,词汇量以及口语水平,真是一举三得。当然,如果你在看美剧的时候,只看中文字幕,没有认真去听发音和语感,这对你是没有任何帮助的。建议看英文字幕,认真听英文对白,体验语气的微弱变化,随着时间的推移,你会发现,进步在无形之间。

  英文歌曲种类很多,像rap就很难听懂,中国人连周杰伦都很难听懂,更别提去听外国“周杰伦”的歌了。应该听哪种歌曲来提高语感呢?本人认为应该听抒情、较小清新的歌,演唱者的发音也要标准些(因此就不要选择韩国日本歌手唱的英文歌了)。

  提高外贸英语口语方法三:多用英英字典

  这个方法可以有效提高外贸英语口语水平,但是很多人没有加以重视。80%的非英语专业的人用的是英汉双语辞典,大家碰到新的单词、词组,第一反应就是查出它的中文意思,但知道了中文意思并不等于了解这个英文单词。提醒大家,必须配合英文解释+英文例句,才能较好地理解一个英文单词。同时,看英文解释的过程,也是学习如何用英语思维表达的过程。刚开始使用英英词典时,可能不习惯,用得慢,但经过一小段时间的磨合,就可以有事半功倍的效果。

  1.《朗文高阶英语词典》(LONGMAN ADVANCED AMERICAN DICTIONARY),适合高中生的英文水平。

  3. 《韦氏高阶英语词典》(Merriam-Webster’s Advanced Learner’s English Dictionary),可以跟《朗文当代英语词典》(LONGMANDICTIONARY of CONTEMPORARY ENGLISH)配合使用,有些解释和例句可以互补,效果更好。

  最后,想提高外贸英语口语水平,就必须要在听上多下功夫。只有在听的量上有了足够的积累,才可能张嘴去说出像样的英语。光想着去练口语而根本不努力找机会听英语,在口语上达到纯熟的程度很难。这个道理对于外贸来说,一定要有深刻的理解。
