1、本课是外研版小学新标准英语三年级起始第六模块第一单元《This is my school》。

通过学习使学生能够独立的询问物品和介绍物品
3、地位和作用
本课时既对前面所学知识的巩固，也是首次认识几个新句型：This is my……/What’s this? It’s a…… 本课时是本单元的重点，在本单元的教学中起着关键的作用。
学情分析
1． 小学三年级（三年级起点学英语）的学生刚接触英语，对英语有强烈的兴趣和好奇心，爱参与游戏活动，但有些形近的单词读音易混淆，像本节课的this 和that，所以要多设计一些游戏活动，让学生积极参与到游戏活动中来，通过多说，多练来达到良好教学效果。
2． 同时小学三年级学生能够用hello, hi, how are you?打招呼；已经掌握了有关物品的5个单词（desk, chair, window, door, blackboard），还掌握了句型：This is a…所以教学起来还是比较轻松。
教学目标
1.知识目标：（1）能听懂会说本课的新单词school pupil classroom English teacher。（2）能用This is ...简单介绍某种物品.(3)熟练掌握重点句型: What’s this ? What’s that？ It’s a …/ This is my...
2.能力目标:能熟练运用本课所学句型向别人询问物品和介绍物品;培养学生大胆说英语,积极参与活动,努力展示自我的能力.
3.情感目标:努力激发学生学习英语的`兴趣,在小组活动中促使学生互相帮助,发展合作精神.
教学重点和难点
重点:让学生掌握 “What’s this ?”和 “This is...”这两个句型.
难点:能灵活的运用本课所学句型向别人询问物品和介绍真实生活中的事物.
教学过程
Step 1. Warming up and Revision
① Greetings.
T: Good morning ,boys andgirls. Howareyoutoday ?
Ss: Goodmorning, Miss Yan ......
② sing an English song.③ Listen and do quickly.（全班学生一起站起来做一做游戏，可以让学生尽快的投入到英语学习中来，同时也活跃了气氛）
T: All the students ,stand up please , point to the window ,point to the door ,point to the blackboard......
设计说明：通过师生对话与活动既拉近与学生的距离，又营造民主、和谐的课堂氛围；歌曲内容与教学内容相关，调动了学生的积极性，活跃课堂气氛；在游戏中复习了单词window, door, blackboard, desk，chair,为学习新知识做好准备。
Step 2: Presentation and practice
1）导入：（教师引导学生观察教室，介绍教室里的物体）
T: This is my classroom. （带读新单词并板书：classroom）
Ss引导学生说出)This is a door. This is a window. This is a desk. This is a chair. This is a blackboard.
2）学生自由操练句型：This is my classroom. This is a door. This is a window. This is a desk. This is a chair. This is a blackboard.
3）多媒体课件呈现教室、门、窗、课桌、椅子、黑板的实物图片
T：What’s this ? (板书并带读)
S1: (引导学生说出) This is a door.
T: What’s this?
S2: This is a chair. （板书：This is a…）
T：It’s a chair. (突破难点)(板书并带读：It’s a…)
4） 实物演示：（老师拿着自己准备的实物）
T：What’s this?
S1: It’s a pencil.
S2: This is a pencil.
4)学生指着实物，自由操练句型：What’s this ? It’s a…
5） Play a guessing game.（利用准备好的盒子来呈现物品的一部分，让学生猜测）
T: What’s this ? Can you guess?
S 1: It’s a desk.
S 2: It’s a chair.
S 3: It’s a window.
S 4: It’s a door.
S 1: It’s a desk.
S 2: It’s a chair.
S 3: It’s a window.
S 4: It’s a door.
T: Yes, you’re right. It’s a door.
设计说明：小学生具有很强的好奇心，教师利用“猜一猜”活动激发其兴趣。通过参与活动，使学生运用了语言，巩固了新知识。
6) Learn to sing a new song.
Song: Can you tell me what’s this ?
It’s a chair, it’s a chair. Yes, it’s a chair.
教师可以指不同的物体让学生试着把歌曲唱出来，巩固知识。

Step 3. Consolidation and Extension
1) (多媒体课件呈现chant)

2) 操练：四人小组利用手中的图片，自编chant.请几组同学表演。
( 设计说明：将本节课所学的重点内容编成chant, 学生边做动作边说chant, 课堂气氛更加活跃。教师引导学生自编chant ,发挥了学生的创造性。)
Step 4. Homework： Draw a picture of a bedroom.向朋友们介绍自己的卧室。
