“解雇”不是一个好消息，如何妥当的表达，以最大限度的减少对员工的伤害，是一种谈话的艺术。 the company has to lay off some staff.(公司必须裁减一些员工。)或we have to let you go.虽然有些直接，但是很有效。

a:peter, i am sorry to say that we have to let you go.
