good morning, my dearest professors. i am glad to be here for this interview. thank you very much for giving me the chance. first let me introduce myself. my name is xx-xx, 24 years old, from xx-xx, xx-xx province.
i got my bachelor degree from shandong university. during those four years, i studied hard and then i was recommended for admission to be a postgraduate without exams. it’s my great honor that i can remain in xx-xx university for further study.
and now, as a postgraduate, my major is welding, and my supervisor is professor xx-xx. under the guidance of my tutor, i’m doing some research on xx-xx. my project name xx-xx.
personally, i am open-minded, quick in thought and curious. in my spare time, i like reading books and listening to music. when i got frustrated and nervous, i’d like to read a book or listening to some music, which can help relax me and help me stay calm and keep the peace of mind. then i can continue my work and study with a good mood.
as mentioned, i have done some research and some experiments, which interested me and throw me into it with great enthusiasm. you know the process of research is a little boring and sometime very frustrating, but it’s challenging and inspiring and i enjoy it especially when i get some new findings by myself.
however, during the one and a half years’ study as the postgraduate, the more i studied and experienced, the more clearly i realized that i need study further. as a result, i want to apply for the opportunity to further study as a phd graduates without exam so that i could able to continue my research smoothly.

it’s my great honor to have the opportunity for this interview.my name is xx-x, i hope i could make a good performance today.now i will introduce myself briefly. looking forward to the wonderful future,i entered in shandong university in 2015 ,majoring in biomedical engineering. i still remembered the first class in university is the major introduction.professor liu told us that bme is a major combined with science, engineering and medical. and i showed great interest in this promising major.during my undergraduate period,i studied hard to lay a good foundation of knowledge for future.and i know that our major should combine theory and practice,so i participated in various competitions,such as mcu competition. besides,i was a committee chairman in student union.also, i was elected to the class committee in our class.
during my hard work in university, i got scholarship and i was recommended for admission to be a postgraduate without exams.it’s my great honor that i can remain in shandong university for further study. now,i have been a postgraduate for one and a half years.in my first year,i still have many courses, and i studied hard ,i got high scores in all these courses,and my grade average point ranks in the top five in our major.in addition, under the guidance of my tutor, professor wei, i do some research on human ecg acquisition.i think it has great meanings to human. with my further research, i have built a more keen interest in biomedical engineering, besides,i also felt i need to enhance level of knowledge, so i want to apply for the opportunity to doctor’s degree without exam.so i could able to make a greater contribution for the chinese biomedical engineering industry.
