These countries performed the best overall in the 2017 Best Countries rankings. The rankings aim to gauge global perceptions of the world’s biggest economies.

China, the world’s most populous country, ranks No. 20 overall. It is considered to be the third most powerful nation and the second best country in which to start a business.

据德国之声电台网站报道，美国新闻杂志《U.S. News & World Report》(《美国新闻与世界报道》)的给出的最新“2017最佳国家”中榜单中，瑞士获得第一，加拿大获得第二，英国获得第三，而中国在2017年的最新排名中名列第20位，与前一年的第17位相比也下降了三名。美国也从2016年的第4名滑落至第7名 。进入前十的国家还包括日本(第5名)、瑞典(第6名)、澳大利亚(第8名)、法国(第9名)以及挪威(第10名)。。。
据介绍，为了给全球各国排名因而制定的评分领域及其在评分过程中的所占比重分别是:“冒险指数”、国民待遇、文化影响、企业家精神、文化底蕴、行动力、商业开放度、实力和生活质量。
报道称，今年一入榜就排名第一的瑞士表现突出的方面是国民待遇、商业开放度以及生活质量。其中在亚洲国家中，排名第20的中国落后于新加坡和日本领先于韩国、印度、泰国以及俄罗斯。中国得分最高的领域是实力，其次是行动力和企业家精神。仅单从“实力”这一评分标准来看，中国位于美国和俄罗斯之后，名列第三。在《美国新闻与世界报道》其他各类排行榜中，中国在“最佳创业国家”中的表现最好，全球排名第二。在“最具影响力国家”排名中，中国位于第三。
