填写英文简历不要出现以下的信息：第一，你的身高和体重，对于外国人来说，这些都属于个人的隐私，包括是否结婚这类信息，你都没有必要在简历当中表现出来。因为外国人的观念很简单，那就是你本人到他们公司上班，是你个人的事情，工作和你的家庭背景是没有任何的关系，因此他们也不想知道有关于你的家庭和你个人的私密信息。所以我们就要把这类信息全部剔除掉;第二，不要说明自己的政治面貌，因为老外并不希望一些政治背景过于复杂的人到他们企业工作，到时候就不会出现一些不必要的麻烦，总之他们需要的是一个对公司有利，而不是给公司增加风险的人。因此，不管你是什么政治面貌，你都不要提这个东西，以免因为这方面的原因影响自己的面试。你不要因为自己是党员，就能够获得优势，老外才不理会你是什么，这些东西对他们来说没有任何价值。
另外，简历当中的性格介绍也应该省掉，因为人是很难真正了解自己的，再说你说自己如何好，谁知道到底如何?因此性格介绍显得无必要性。
