  有时候面试中招聘者会提问应聘者有关工作目标的问题,目的就是了解应聘者做事的风格,以及应聘者对这份工作的看法。当然由于应聘者还不是很了解自己所应聘的工作,在回答问题时并不一定面面俱到,因为在实际当中会碰到自己计划中所没有考虑到的问题,所以大致说明自己的计划目标就好了。

  面试英语:求职时切不可问的8个问题

  如何在英语面试中脱颖而出

  对求职者来说,面试已经是一件不容易的事情!如果需要面临“英语面试”,难度更是加倍!事实上,许多求职者原本英文能力还不错,但是只要碰到英语面试,由于紧张的关系,表现也不免大打折扣。其实,如果准备充分,你定能在“英语面试”中脱颖而出。

  见面后要亲切问候

  求职者带给面试官的第一印象一定要落落大方,见面后一定要亲切问候。通常面试官的桌上会有名牌,如果面试官姓李,求职者可以从“Good morning, Mr. Lee”开始,拉近两人的距离。当面试官问求职者:“How are you?” 求职者可以回答:“Couldn't be better!”显示出个人“愉悦的人格属性”。 面试官除了关心求职者的学历及经验(这些可以从简历表来观察)之外,面试官还会考核求职者的“个性”及“态度”。这时,建议求职者以“2S1H”来表达自己的个性。“2S 1H”中,S是“Serious”,H是“Humorous”的意思。求职者可以说自己的个性是:Diligent, logical and happy. Diligent,和logical,是属于严肃的描述;happy是属于幽默感的描述。但是,在表情上要搭配得宜,例如,说自己是个happy的人的时候,表情也应该是微笑的。如何掌握准确的表情,有赖于对自己性格的了解。

  自我介绍重点突出

  企业一般在招聘时有些什么要求呢?求职者工作的长度、所负责的职务内容描述、能运用的技能(例如英语及电脑或某种专业)等等,这些都是面试官最关心的内容。面试的时间有限,求职者必须先掌握企业的要求,做好符合条件内容的陈述。

  许多求职者在自传中,花了很多版面描述家庭状况;或是当面试官要求做自我介绍时,求职者没有掌握重点,拉拉杂杂说了一堆。这时,即使求职者英文程度不错,冗长无意义的赘述,也会让面试官不耐烦。在有限的面试时间里,求职者要掌握诉求的重点,并以逻辑的方式,一一道出企业所需要知道的信息。

  对应陈述准备充分

  在英语面试时,面试官经常会要求职者做“英语自我介绍”。一般在陈述的第一段,求职者要呈现出与职务目标相关的学识和技能;第二段,要表达过去的经历和个人专长;第三段,表达求职者的学习精神,和“恳请给予面试机会”的意愿。在英语面试时,求职者很可能被问到某种并不擅长的技能,或缺乏某种经验的项目时,这时,面对面试官的质疑,求职者也有方法可以安然度过。1. 承认面试官提出的问题。2. 举出曾经历过的具体的经验及教训。3. 提出具体改善的方法。4. 强调自己学习力极强,表示自己可以很快迎头赶上。承认面试官提出的问题,可以“避免”求职者露出“反对面试官”的态度。求职者马上“反对面试官”,是绝对没有好处的。举出曾经历过的具体的经验及教训,以及提出具体改善的方法,则可以将过去的成绩具体化。最后,强调自己学习力极强,表示自己可以很快迎头赶上,则是化解面试官的疑虑。这样一来,求职者可以马上化弱点为优点。

  面试结束,有礼有节

  当结束了面试,求职者要表达胜不骄、败不馁的态度。求职者即使感到自己表现不是非常好,也可以用幽默感及好的态度为自己加分。例如,离场时,求职者可以说:Thank you very much. I hope we can see each other very soon.求职者必须以正面的态度结束这个面试,千万别露出沮丧担心的表情。这样做,至少可以让面试官感受你正面积极的态度及不慌不忙的成熟个性。

  Q: Can you sell yourself in two minutes? Go for it. (你能在两分钟自我推荐吗?大胆试试吧!)

  Know something about the organization you are applying to. (了解一些你申请工作单位的情况)

  Dress properly. Don't shake hand with the interviewer until he/she extends his/her hand. (穿着要得体,人家伸手时才握手。)

  Don't sit down until invited to do so by the interviewer. (人家未请,先坐下。)

  Make eye-contact with the interviewer during the interview. (面试时,眼睛要看着对方。)

  Listen actively and stay calm. (注意听,保持冷静。)

  If invited to a meal, be especially careful about your table manners. (被邀吃饭时,要特注意餐桌礼节。)

  Don't talk with your mouth full. (嘴里有食物,不可开口说话)

  Don't make much noise while you eat. (吃东西不要出声音)

  Don't blow your nose or use the toothpick at table. (不要拧鼻涕或用牙签剔牙)

  Don't appear to be pushy or overly anxious to get a job.(不必过分表现急着要工作)

  英语面试:开场篇 Brief Introduction

  BRIEF INTRODUCTION 简介

  开场白(prolusion)有可能决定整个面试的基调。所谓“前三分钟定终身”,即你给面试考官的第一印象,从言谈举止到穿着打扮将直接影响到你被录取的机会。要彬彬有礼,但不要显得过分殷勤;要大方得体,不要拘谨或过分谦让。

  还有,应试者需要注意的是,虽然对方为了缓和紧张气氛会问几个轻松的问题,但回答问题时一定要有礼貌,答案要抓住重点,和面试无关的话不要说,尽量考虑对方最想知道什么。

  这是面试开始时常用到的几个场景。面试可能是一对一进行,也可能是集体面试,一般之前都有预约。注意不同场合下的几个关键用语:(提前预约过)“I come here for an interview by appointment.”或者“I am coming to your company for an interview as requested.”。

  如果是集体面试,主考官会轮流叫人,进入房间后只要自己介绍就可以了。如果是第一次登门拜访,则需要说明你的来意和一些相关情况,比如你是从广告上看到的招聘启事或者是经人推荐的,一定要说清楚。句型有:“Excuse me, please. I wish to apply for the vacancy advertised in the morning newspaper yesterday. Has the vacancy been filled?”或者“I wasrecommended to your company by Mr.White, your manager.”。

  这里所讲的个人资料是一个应征者的基本信息,虽然是一些很简单的问题,但是正是根据这些信息,主考官可以初步断定应试者是否符合他们的要求。

  根据这些信息,主考官可以初步断定应试者是否符合他们的要求,比如有些工作只适合本地人来做;有些工作需要经常出差,单身的人就有优势。但是有些涉及个人隐私,自己不便于说的,比如主考官问你:I noticed you've wearing a wedding ring. Do you have any children?这时你最好的回答就是Why do you ask?,这样可以使你掌握主动,使主考官把他真正的意图说出来,比如也许他是在试探你是否能长时间留在他们公司。

  I: What subject did you minor in?

  A: I didn't minor in any subject when I was in university, but I attended English and computer courses. And I am currently studying finance in a training school.

  A: In fact my records were excellent. My overall GPA was 9 on a 10 scale, which was the highest in my class.

  I: That's very impressive. Which course did you like best?

  A: English. It was both interesting and useful, so I showed a great interest in it.

  I: Can you tell me why you changed your major when you were a graduate student?

  A: Because I am very interested in administration and I did take some courses in it. I also performed well in the subjects. Hence I believe that I can do a good job in this position.

  I: Did you get any honors and awards at college?

  A: Yes. I was awarded a scholarship from the university every year. In 1995 I participated in the National Contest of Maths Models and I won the prize.

  在回答提问时要注意投其所好,比如对方问你“What course do you like best?”,这时你最好回答和所应聘公司相关的科目,这会让他留下你很有潜力的印象。
