汽车检测与维修专业就业前景：
全国有二十多万人从事汽车技术服务与营销工作，而接受过系统培训的服务营销人员还不到从业人员的百分之十，特别是经过专业化培训的优秀技术服务与营销人员，具备专业汽车营销能力，能够从事汽车营销、技术服务、汽车信贷、汽车保险与理赔、二手车交易等复合型人才更是十分匮乏。2009年，我国汽车销量达1350万辆，位列世界第一。汽车市场的扩大，使汽车技术服务营销人员成为就业市场上的抢手货。 我国汽车制造、汽车销售、汽车维修、汽车售后服务行业对汽车技术服务人员的预测需求量约为80万，而汽车维修行业每年需新增从业人员近30万，急需具有现代服务意识和现代维修技能的行家能手。目前，维修企业的发展和人员素质远不能满足行业发展之需。在现有的220万从业人员中，接受过中级以上系统职业技术教育的专门人才比例仅占20%左右，技师和高级技师只有8%，且年龄偏大，知识老化，一级工人中38.5%文化程度在初中以下，已成为制约汽车维修业发展的“瓶颈”。也正因此，汽车应用技术专业人才培养被列入了“国家制造业和现代服务业技能紧缺人才培养工程”。
